The girls woke up bright and early and were so excited to see what Santa had left them! They got a dollhouse and a million other toys and had a great time tearing through each and every present. I wish I had more pictures of the morning but is nearly impossible to help everyone open presents, video and take pictures! Mema and Peepaw came over for breakfast and we went to their house for dinner. It was a wonderful day and all were exhausted by the end of it!

Christmas Eve, 12/24/11
We spent the morning at Memaw and Peepaws where we had lunch before church. We went to the Children's service at 4:00 and then came home and the girls sprinkled their reindeer food out on the lawn so Rudolph would know where our house was. The girls got into their Christmas jammies and put out their milk and cookies and before bed Daddy read "Twas the Night Before Christmas". They went down without a problem - Adelaide was too worried Santa would come before she was asleep and pass over our house!

Mimi and Papa stayed with us on Friday before they headed down to the Bay for Christmas. This is the first time in a long time that Mimi and Papa haven't been with us on Christmas Eve, so we took the chance to cook a big dinner and celebrate early.
Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 - Adelaide's Christmas program at School!
Adelaide had her very first Christmas program at school and she was so excited to get up on the stage and show us all she had learned. She sang along to most of the songs but at times appeared a little bored - as if she had somewhere else she'd rather be! It was absolutely precious though, and I was definitely one proud Mama! I don't think it was a coincidence that she was right next to her teacher, Mrs. Charlotte though! Afterwards, we all got to go to her Christmas party in her room and I was able to get a ton of pictures with all of her buddies!
